You can touch, you can smell, you can see me. I am a live creature with one head, two arms, two legs and a cute ass. I was born in "N" year on a snowy winter night in Russia to two beautiful college students, who were as incompatible as a grasshopper is to a butterfly; but they did have the passion. They had passion for Beatles, they had passion for poetry, they had passion for travel, they just had passion...for each other. She wore mini skirts, black dark lashes, fonfan-tulpan hairdos...even her lingerie was unique. Unique, because it was not soviet panties, they were western sexy lingerie. She was a role-model, an A-student, a soviet fashionista, liberal arts major, a linguist who still is the most beautiful and smart woman I've ever known. He was the opposite, even though he was (and still is) also good-looking and smart. He wore old jeans, long hair, preferred sleeping in a camping tent deep in the forest under open sky than in bed at home. He did not care how he looked, he cared what he said. He was a nature boy who became a scientist. He played guitar, she sang the Beatles. He carried a backpack; she carried a pillow in espadrilles on a camping trip. He was dreamy, she was practical. He had lots of friends, she was selective. And as a result - I AM A MUD. A production of two intellectuals, who came in passion and conceived a sucker and a junkie for dreams, fashion, ambition, culture, art, travel, music, love, passion and SEXY lingerie. I have gone through both schools - Science/Business and Liberal Arts/Communications. I have traveled around, sucked up the cultures, and inhaled the smells of foods, streets and social scenes. I have dated both geeks and playboys. I junk up on all the literature kinds - from Dostoyevsky to OK! Magazine. I walk and breathe passion for life, for people, for news! I see the sky change - I love it. I hear the thunderstorm - I love it. I see Tuscany blooming - I love it. I smell my grandma's baking - I love it. I see my cousin's excitement for sweets - I love it. I see my parents laugh together - I love it. I see affection and respect in a man's eyes for me - I love it. I speak English as well as Russian, even though I would not have said the same thing 5 years ago. I speak German as well as...Deutsch. I'm on the verge of learning French...or should I not? Italian? I do have a special feeling about Italy; I have a lover in Italy. His name is Rome! I lived in Moscow, Gottingen (Germany), San Francisco, New York, Corvallis (Oregon), Los Angeles and College Station (Texas). I do not mention the other 10 countries I have been to. I worked in fashion, music, entertainment, advertising, marketing, publishing and public relations. I have also enjoyed wearing a sexy short skirt in my waitressing years as much as I have enjoyed working 24/7 on a short feature film in my film production years. I do enjoy sports, but up to the point when I feel like it's time to take a month break from it, because I do get flat abs, tight butt, muscled legs and toned biceps. I put on sexy shoes, short skirt and hit the social scene with my girlfriends. What we, girls, talk about? The usual – fashion and its flops, about work and boss-assholes, about friends and their freak sides, politics and dummy figures, economy and its slam-slaps to our faces, sociology and the ozone hole. It is not all about men, but don't get me wrong - at the end of a day, we do love them inside us. I could go on and on and on, but it would defeat the purpose of having a journal. This is just an intro and if you are repelled already, you should stop and think. Do you want me to push your buttons? Do you want me to find your tender, personal spot? Do you want me to challenge you? Do you want me to humor us all? Then I would love to see your comments, your feelings towards the pages of my writings to come...I would love to make love to you...in my essays!
